Uncommonly Better Health
The Uncommon Approach to Healthy Aging
At Uncommon Wellness, we provide clinical, research-backed programs designed to optimize health and elevate your quality of life. Our personalized approach integrates nutrition, movement, hormone balance, and stress management to address age-related metabolic changes and support lasting lifestyle changes.
As we age, changes in hormones, metabolism, and environment can affect how we feel and function. For women, perimenopause and menopause may impact energy, sleep, mood, and body composition. For men, age-related hormonal changes (andropause) can affect vitality, muscle mass, and overall well-being.
Feel stronger. Live with intention. Thrive at every stage of life.
With 26 years of clinical practice as a Physician Associate, Kristen brings a wealth of expertise spanning family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, and gastroenterology. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Delaware before graduating at the top of her class from Lock Haven’s PA program.
In 2017, despite exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy diet, and thriving both socially and professionally, Kristen was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following her recommended treatments, she was left dealing with persistent fatigue and joint pain. Determined to understand the root cause of her symptoms, she discovered Functional and Integrative Medicine. She immersed herself in learning about holistic, whole-body wellness and the critical role hormones play in overall health. Inspired by her own healing journey and driven by a passion to help others access this transformative approach, Kristen founded her practice, Uncommon Wellness.
Outside the clinic, Kristen loves spending time with her husband, Craig, their three children and 2 dogs. An avid outdoorswoman, she stays active by trail running, hiking, camping, skiing, and weight lifting.
